Further I wonder how long the Naxos Festival will last (up at the Bazeos Tower)? Is it over for the summer or do they still host cultural events? We were on Naxos this May and went on several events, and now returning in September we wonder if there will be something Similar?

Could you advise me whether there is daily ferry from Naxos to Mykonos daily from 20May09 onwards? Can't locate the ferry schedule from those big companies?

I wanted to know where would be the best place for me and my family to stay at during our visit in Naxos in June. We have a 10 year old son. We want to enjoy a quiet, clear water, sandy beach. We also want to be able to visit the naxos sites, town, and eat in different restaurants. Ideally I would like a beach location to stay at, and one that offers transportation to the naxos town sites.

Would it be useful to rent a car while we are there? How much would it cost to do that?

I am thinking of booking a holiday to Naxos for a week starting September 17th. Could you tell me what the weather is normally like around this time? Also could you tell me how touristy it would be, and whether or not there is still plenty to do at this time of year (many tavernas etc?).
