Koronos Naxos

A traditional village in a lush green setting, about 30 kilometers (16 miles) northeast of Naxos town, at the foot of mount Koronos. In times gone by emery mining was carried out here. The small Popular Arts Museum contains an interesting collection of various tools and utensils. It is also possible to visit a traditional embroidery center managed by the village's Women's Association.
